Artist's Comments

I finally managed to finish it. And it was tough, I must say. Hours of searching a proper colour combination and then hours of colouring. But that was fun. Seriously.
Yup, no shading again. Because I don't know how to do it :p
Maybe my sister will do it later, or maybe she won't. We'll see.

(she's out of reach for a while, so I didn't manage to get her direct agreement. But she allowed to colour her lineart, so I hope she won't get mad at me)

PS brushes (c) various wonderful talented people
Inspiration: beautiful works of Haruyo Morita
You can see them here [link]

And now other important stuff:
1) Yes, I know that I mixed up all 28 seasons, and yes, I know that it is a RUDE mistake. So I beforehand apologize all the Japanese people who may accidentally land here and faint after seeing this.

2) None of PS brushes I used here were made by me. But I used so many that I simply don't remember which belongs to whom. So if you see your brush here, please, let me know so I could credit you and say a proper 'thank you'.

Wow, this is really cool! In this case, I don't think it needs shading, there are a lot of patterns, which look beautiful. Too much more detail may make it look too busy. Your artwork, posing, background and attention to detail along with the combination of patterns are enough to carry the drawing without shading.

Sorry, I didn't read the part that it was :iconone-of-the-clayr: line art. But your work is just right for this piece, I like you selections. It can be difficult to use textures without over-doing it. :D

Amazing! This is incredibly well coloured! I love all the patterns and textures you chose, as well as the tone of the colours.

^_^ I don't mind at all giving credits. I'm honoured to do it actually.
And thanks a lot :)
About over-doing - oh yes-yes, it's so true.
Textures CAN give hard times indeed. Especially when you can't find the exact thing you want to put in the pattern and have to do smth about it X)

Tons of thanks :)
I'm trying to keet to the original Japanese patterns and colourings.
